The source code of a number of Windows versions has been leaked online and is being shared through various file sharing sites. The list of the operating systems includes Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, and Windows 2000. The torrent file to download the source code is what leaked online.
The leaked source code of these operating systems consists of numerous highly important components like MS-DOS 6.0, Windows CE 3, and more. The full list can be found below in the article.

The size of the whole leaked file is somewhere around 43GB in size. TheVerge has confirmed the authenticity of the leak and confirmed it is indeed the original source code. Microsoft has suffered a bunch of source code leaks in past including the one of Windows 10.

Hackers could exploit the leaked source code to reverse engineer and attack computers still running on Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, or Windows 2000. Even today, there are a good number of computers running the aforementioned OS.
One more interesting thing about the leaked package is that it includes a separate folder related to conspiracy theories related to Microsoft founder, Bill Gates.
Microsoft entirely stopped support for Windows XP back in 2014 and in 2017 Microsoft was kind enough to release a patch for Ransomware affected computers.
Microsoft haven’t responded to the same officially yet.
